First of all, the Belgrade Dance Institute provided me with experience and constant work with many choreographers and pedagogues who passed on incredible knowledge to us. A space for me to express myself as a choreographer, a space for work, opportunities for performance, wonderful mentors who would draw attention to all the things that need to be improved. Working and learning in a family atmosphere, I learned how to position ourselves humanely and professionally in every tense and difficult situation, which is difficult to learn at an early stage of my career. I finished the choreography department and I can already stand behind many of my choreographic works thanks to the Belgrade Dance Institute. Attending the Belgrade Dance Institute is not just about attending college but is the perfect opportunity to work on yourself, learn about art, apply knowledge, open up vistas and prepare for the harsh art world that emerges after graduation. So I am most grateful for the practice that you rarely get elsewhere.

The Belgrade Dance Institute made me get to know myself better, to realise how much I can and what I want. I have learnt much and discovered new dimension in my choreographic creating. Above all I had the chance and was honoured to meet many renowned and respected choreographers, ballet pedagogues and dancers who shared their professional experience selflessly with us students. They introduced us to numerous dance techniques through the system of exercises for building the body of a ballet dancer. BDI has provided us with freedom of creativity and play, which is necessary for the overall development of an artist – dancer – choreographer. I achieved freedom, absolute freedom of expression. It’s one of the most significant characteristics I’ve acquired and without which I don’t think an artist can exist.
It is my honour to belong to the first generation of the BDI because it reflects a group of talented, skillful and creative young people who diligently and proudly defend the title they achieved at the Institute.

The most important experience acquired ate the Institute is self-knowledge. Strength, both mental and physical, has been trained to the maximum and reached its best in terms of stamina. After three years of studying at the BDI, one is ready to face all the challenges life can produce. Creativity becomes a lifestyle due to numerous and various subjects that encourage it. Analysis and synthesis are the basics of choreography so that they are practised at the Institute at the same extent and are developed simultaneously and at par with each other.
I am a representative of DDT Creative Centre for Movement. Significant projects in the last five years are Life on sale, Venus in Front of a Mirror, Dance Macabre, Pannonian Saga, and Top Secret.
I currently work in the American company Young Living as an education assistant for raindrop massage for Europe.
