The Belgrade Dance Institute announces entrance exams/audition for Master studies of dance performance – IUI Transition Dance Company (IUI being the Serbian abbreviation for BDI) in 2024/25 academic year. Master studies are intended for individuals with a higher education degree in arts who possess at least 180 ECTS credits.
The entrance exam for Master studies in Artistic Dance will be held on July 2nd, 2024, at 2:00 PM. The audition for Master studies in Dance Performance – IUI Transition Dance Company will be held on
July 2nd, 2024, at 2:00 PM.

What do I need in order to apply?
- To enclose with the application the evidence of acquired at least 180 ECTS points (three- or four-year accredited studies);
- Pass the audition;
- Prove your working knowledge of the English language (conversation)
- Before taking the entrance exam, the candidate pays the amount of 5,000 dinars to the faculty account for the costs of holding the exam.

IUI Transition Dance Company is a dancing company made within the Belgrade Dance Institute and intended for those individuals who are higher-educated in arts and who posses at least 180 ETTS points.
IUI Transitions Dance Company is also engaged in educating and experimenting for inventing new choreographic and dancing vocabulary, and the way of expressing thoughts put before the students by a choreographer as an assignment.
The result of such a way of work should be discovering unexpected, stimulating challenges while working on a new project or play which will be accessible to huge audience.
The company gathers the most interesting young choreographers and dancers for creating original pieces of art, or taking over the most interesting pieces of respectable choreographers or dancers from national/domestic and the world scene.
Enrolment Master studies Artistic Dance
The Belgrade Dance Institute announces entrance exams for Master studies Artistic Dance 2023/24 for departments Pedagogy and Choreography.
Applications for the enrolment are open until September 15th 2023.
Entrance exam for enrolling Master studies Artistic Dance – Pedagogy (Classical Ballet and Contemporary Dance) and Choreography is held on September 21st 2023.
Candidates take the entrance exam, which consists of the analysis of their artistic-and-professional-work portfolio and their interviews with the Commission, as well as a test of their English-language skills.
Tuition / Finances
The overall costs of studying at the undergraduate level are the most affordable in Serbia (tuition fees, all textbooks and scientific teaching aids, unlimited number of exam registrations as well as confirmation of semesters) and amount to EUR 4000 per year of study (payment according to the NBS average rate on the day of payment).
If the candidate opts for the option of payment in installments, the student is obliged to pay 40% of the tuition fee (dinar equivalent according to the middle exchange rate of the NBS on the day of payment), and the rest in eight equal monthly installments according to the middle exchange rate of the NBS on the day of payment.
Before taking the entrance exam, the candidate pays the amount of 5,000 dinars to the faculty account for the costs of holding the exam.
