WINTER INTENSIVE MASTERCLASS SCHEDULE – CLASSIC BALLET

 

The Belgrade Dance Institute will organize intensive classes of classical ballet called Winter Intensive Masterclass – classical ballet from January 10th to 15th, 2022., led by ballet master and choreographer from Northern Macedonia Sasha Evtimova.

 

Winter Intensive Masterclass – classical ballet will include exercises of classical ballet according to the Vaganova system with an emphasis on technical requirements and their mastering, support classes and repertoire. Intensive Ballet Masterclass is intended for students of Primary Ballet Schools (3rd and 4th grade), students of Secondary Ballet Schools (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade) and professional dancers.

 

Class Schedule:

Monday 10.01. from 10.30 – 12.00 Classical ballet; 12.15 – 13.30 Repertoire;

Tuesday 11.01. from 10.30 – 12.00 Classical ballet; 12.15 – 13.30 Repertoire;

Wednesday 12.01. from 9.30 – 10.15 Classical ballet; 10.30 – 11.30 Repertoire;

Thursday 13.01. from 10.30 – 12.00 Classical ballet; 12.15 – 13.30 Repertoire;

Friday 14.01. from 10.30 – 12.00 Classical ballet; 12.15 – 13.30 Repertoire;

Saturday 15.01. from 10.00 presentation and awarding of diplomas.

NOTE: Be sure to bring pointed ballet shoes.

 

 

Price Winter Intensive Masterclass – classical ballet:

Members of the Youth Ballet company 3,000 dinars;

Students and others who are not members of the Youth Ballet company 5,000 dinars.

You can make payments until Monday, January 10th.

Sasha Evtimova was born in Skopje, Northern Macedonia. She was educated at the Macedonian School of Music and Ballet in Skopje, and then at Point Park College in Pittsburgh. She is a soloist, ballet master and choreographer of the Macedonian Opera and Ballet in Skopje. She played the most important roles on the stage of the parent company, and choreographed a large number of neoclassical and contemporary choreographies for the stages in the country and the region. At the fifth International Choreographic Competition, Sergei Diaghilev in Poland won the prestigious Grand Prix in 2011. She graduated from the Belgrade Dance Institute in 2018.
