PREMIERE OF THE DANCE PERFORMANCE TRE SORELLE
On the Grand Stage of the Music Center of Montenegro on Friday, May 20th, the dance performance of Tre Sorelle will be premiered, choreographed by Prof. Aleksandar Ilić and directed by Prof. Aleksandar Nikolić, starting at 8 p.m.
The dance performance is based on the traditional story of the folk spirit in the Bay of Kotor – the legend of the three sisters in which through movement, dance and music shows togetherness, but also rivalry, women’s rebellion against conventions, traditions, dogma and patriarchal worldview in small communities, the authors state.
The Ballet Studio of the Music Center of Montenegro (MCCG) started this year with eleven members consisting of Manja Pavićević, Ksenija Sinđić, Anja Lučić, Tamara Radonjić, Tijana Dragović, Stasa Šćepanović, Kristina Mrkić, Elena Vujošević, Barbara Šuškavčević, Natalija Roganović and Ksenija Kankaraš.
The scenography for the play was done by Dunja Kostić, the costume by Senka Ranosavljević and the author of the musical arrangements is Georg Draušnik. The assistant choreographer is Mojca Majcen, and the ballet tutor is Viktorija Strugar.
