INSTALLATION BY ALISA ORAVEC FOR WORLD DANCE DAY
On the occasion of World Dance Day, which is traditionally celebrated around the world on April 29th, Alisa Oravec, a doctoral student in Artistic Dance and Performance at the Belgrade Dance Institute, will present the installation Two Parts of Me, which will be set on Cvetni trg in the Belgrade Cultural Center.
The installation was created on the subject of Installations and Performance led by Prof. dr Snežana Arnautović Stjepanović and was shown within the project Body in Focus at the Student Cultural Center on February 25th, 2022.
Two parts of me
Two body states in focus. We can see the installation as two different characters in two people or simply as two different states of one artist.
The body in motion represents the continuous creation and sharing of various energies with which we balance ourselves in our unbalanced position of the body.
