GUEST LECTURES BY BRANKO MILISKOVIĆ

 

 

Branko Miliskovic’s guest lectures will be held at the Belgrade Dance Institute from February 21st to 23rd with master’s and doctoral students.

 

Branko Milisković (1982, Belgrade) studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade in the class of prof. Mrdjan Bajić. He continued his BFA studies as a scholarship holder of the Government of the Netherlands at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague and graduated from the Department of 3D Art in 2009. He received his master’s degree from the Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Hamburg in the class of Professor Jeanne Faust at the Department of Extended Media in 2012. He has been a member of ULUS since 2018.

Branko Milisković is dedicated to live performance, monoopera, cabaret, photography, sound and film. He has performed at prestigious international and domestic festivals, exhibitions and art residencies including Reims Scenes d’Europe 2015, Reims, France; CSW / CoCA, Torun, Poland; G12HUB, Belgrade, Serbia; solo productions: Kampnagel, Hamburg, Germany; Les Halles de Schaerbeek, Brussels, Belgium; Dutch Film Festival, Utrecht and TENT Rotterdam; Netherlands Media Art Institute, Amsterdam, The Netherlands; CIRCA art current, Montreal, Canada; Live Art Development Agency, London, UK; YFV, Seattle, The Tank, New York, USA; 57th October Salon, Belgrade, Podroom Gallery, Cultural Center of Belgrade, Center for Cultural Decontamination, Serbia; Third program of Croatian Radio, Zagreb…

His work has been included in the books Performance Art in Eastern Europe since 1960, by Dr. Amy Bryzgel and Situating Populist Politics: Arts & Media Nexus, Milena Dragićević-Šešić and Mirjana Nikolić.
