Dean Prof. Dr. Vladimir Tomašević is this year’s recipient of the Golden Badge of the Cultural and Educational Community of Serbia for the year 2024, which is awarded for long-term contribution to the development of cultural activities – for selfless, dedicated and long-term work.
From the explanation, it can be deduced that Prof. Dr. Tomašević, after returning to the Republic of Serbia from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, established new values in the educational and cultural space of our country and reminded of the old ones, like many before him. By establishing the Faculty of Engineering Management in Belgrade, with accredited units in Vranje and Vrbas, the Belgrade Dance Institute and the Institute for Safety, he transmitted all the world’s skills and sciences that he brought and then enabled and improved them through our autochthonous interlocution to be improved and further transmitted to new for generations.
The Golden Badge is awarded by the Cultural and Educational Community of Serbia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia.
The award ceremony was held today at 12 noon in the National Theater in Belgrade – on the “Raša Plaović” stage.
