The VR technology workshop, led by Enya Belak, an artist from Slovenia, will be held on Thursday, November 13th, at 2:00 PM in Cabinet 307.
Enya Belak is a multidisciplinary artist whose work encompasses film directing, choreography, and other artistic forms. With a background in contemporary dance, her research focuses on the body as the primary subject. Since completing her Master’s studies in Fiction Film Directing at Goldsmiths University in London, she has participated in numerous projects in the fields of film, music videos, and dance, as well as developing an innovative method for recording dance in virtual reality.
Her directorial work includes the acclaimed documentary film “Aerowaves at 25.” As a choreographer, Enya presented the multimedia project “Blue Ink,” which unites dance, VR 360° film, and a hybrid performative form. Most recently, she was the co-founder and co-author of the visual-dance performance “Unfolded Moments,” which explores the relationship between dance and movement through video projection and the interplay of analog and digital techniques.
