ENTRANCE EXAM AND ENROLLMENT IN THE MASTER STUDIES ARTISTIC DANCE FOR THE ACADEMIC 2022/23.
The Belgrade Dance Institute is announcing the entrance exams for the Master’s Studies in Artistic Dance and Master’s Studies in Dance Performance – IUI Transition Dance Company for 2022/23. academic year. Master studies are intended for individuals with higher education in art who have at least 180 ECTS credits.
The master program of the Belgrade Dance Institute is intended for ambitious graduates who want to deepen their knowledge in the field of artistic dance, choreography and pedagogy, as well as already achieved professionals who want to improve their knowledge and skills to achieve better personal and professional results.

Master of Artistic Dance Studies
The master’s study program lasts two years, ie four semesters and consists of sixteen subjects (compulsory and elective) that represent a balance between academic, scientific, professional, professionally applied and theoretical and methodological subjects. Compulsory courses contribute to general expertise, and electives allow students to further specialize in selected majors in order to acquire useful practical and marketable knowledge and skills.
An integral part of the master’s program is the master’s work of each student, which is the result of harmonizing theory and practice and which the student and his mentor create during the entire duration of the program. After defending the Master’s thesis, the student acquires 120 ECTS points and the title of Master of Drama and Audiovisual Artist – Artistic Dance.
The entrance exam for the master’s degree in artistic dance will be held on June 30th, 2022. at 14.00.
The entrance exam costs 5000 RSD.
Candidates take the entrance exam, which consists of an analysis of the portfolio of artistic and professional works of candidates as well as interviews with the Commission.
Master of Dance Performance Studies IUI Transition Dance Company
Master studies in dance performance – Double achievement: rigorous challenges through life in a dance company and demanding master studies.
IUI Transitions Dance Company is a dance company created within the Belgrade Dance Institute intended for individuals with higher education in art who have at least 180 ECTS credits.
The IUI Transitions Dance Company is simultaneously engaged in education and experimentation in order to find new forms of choreographic and dance vocabulary, and ways of expressing thoughts that the choreographer sets as a task for the dancers.
The result of this way of working should be finding unexpected, stimulating challenges in working on this part, which will be available to a wide audience.
The audition for the Master of Dance Performance Studies will be held on July 4th, 2022. at 12.00. Audition includes floor, center exercises and improvisations (professor assigns improvisation).
The entrance exam costs 5000 RSD.
