SEPTEMBER ENROLMENT EXAMS FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2021/2022
The Belgrade Dance Institute has announced the contest for the enrolment in the first year of accredited undergraduate academic studies lasting for three years or six semesters, and the departments which can be enrolled are Classical Ballet, Contemporary Dance, Choreography, Ballet Pedagogy, Contemporary Dance Pedagogy, and Stage Folk Dance and Music.
After completing this level of studies, a graduate acquires the title of Drama and Audiovisual Artist – Artistic Dance (180 ECTS credits).
Entrance exams will be held from 20th to 22nd September of 2021, whereas preparatory classes and open days for consultations will be given from 13st to 17th September of 2021.
Schedule of the entrance exams:
- Entrance exam for Classical Ballet and Classical Ballet Pedagogy is on September 20 at 11 a.m. in the New Room;
- Entrance exam for Contemporary Dance and Contemporary Dance Pedagogy is on September 21 at 11 a.m. in the New Room;
- Entrance exam for Stage Folk Dance on September 21 at 4 p.m. in the hall no. 307;
- Entrance exam for Choreography is on September 20 at 2 p.m. in the New Room;
- General Knowledge Test on September 22 at 3 p.m. in the room no. 329;
- English Language Test on September 22 at 4 p.m. in the room no. 329.
Enrolment
Candidates who have passed the entrance exam and who are about to enrol the Institute need to submit the following documents:
- Birth Certificate;
- Secondary School Certificates of all four forms (the original or a verified copy);
- Secondary School Diploma (the original or a certified copy);
- 2 photographs with dimensions 5 x 4.5 cm;
- The receipt showing that the study fees are paid.
A payment of 2,000 dinars is to be made for taking the entrance exam.

Preparatory classes
The Belgrade Dance Institute holds entrance-exam preparatory classes for undergraduate studies for the departments: Classical Ballet, Contemporary Dance, Choreography, Ballet Pedagogy, Contemporary Dance Pedagogy and Stage Folk Dance and Music.
Preparatory classes are held from September 13 to 17, 2021.
The schedule for preparatory classes is:
- Classical ballet and Ballet Pedagogy from 10.30 to 12.00 in the hall no. 307
- Contemporary Dance and Contemporary Dance Pedagogy from 10.30 to 12.00 in the hall no. 214
- Stage Folk Dance from 4p.m. to 7p.m. in the hall no. 307
- Choreography – consultations are given every working day from 12.00 to 2 p.m. in the office of the New Room
The costs of attending the preparatory classes for all departments are 5,000.00 RSD.

Tuition fees / Finance
The total costs of studying at the undergraduate level are the most affordable in Serbia (tuition, all textbooks, and scientific and teaching aids, unlimited number of exam applications and semester verifications) and amount to EUR 2,000 per year of study (payment at the NBS middle exchange rate on the day of payment).
If the candidate opts for the payment in installments, the student is obliged to pay 40% of the tuition fee at the beginning of the academic year (dinar equivalent at the NBS middle exchange rate on the day of payment), and the rest in eight equal monthly installments at the NBS middle exchange rate on the day of payment.
In the best academic spirit, the Belgrade Dance Institute offers partial or full scholarships for students who, upon application, show the highest quality and potential, as well as the need for financial support. Before taking the entrance exam, a candidate pays to the Institute account the amount of 2,000 RSD for the costs of holding the exam.
Payment is made to the Institute bank account with the number 265167031000009130; reference number – the candidate’s Unique Citizen’s Identity Number (JMBG in Serbian*).
Students who are not the citizens of Serbia
In addition to the above conditions, these students must additionally take care of obtaining visas for the purpose of staying in Serbia during their studies. The Institute is not a guarantor of foreign students during their stay in Serbia, nor does it bear any legal, financial, or moral responsibility towards them or third parties related to their stay in the Republic of Serbia. The students themselves are responsible for obtaining relevant documentation and proving it to the Consular Representation or the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in order to obtain (a) visa (s). All students who pass the entrance exams and meet all conditions for the enrolment can obtain the relevant certificates that will be sent to the competent authorities for the timely issuance of their visas.
