METHRONOMY IN THE PREPARATION OF THE BELGRADE DANCE INSTITUTE

METHRONOMY IN THE PREPARATION OF THE BELGRADE DANCE INSTITUTE

The choreographer Tamara Gvozdenović in cooperation with the sixth generation of students of the Belgrade Dance Institute, will be presented by the project Metronomija.

We build our common future considering contrasts: construction against deconstruction, parallel, crowd versus loneliness, between, negative space, shadow, body shift, change of space, change of perception and perspective. “In order to create, first we must destroy. All we have built we will destroy. Everything we believe in will be destroyed. All the faces we saw will be forgotten. We will not start from zero. We will keep the foundations. In pieces. We will collect. Some will stay. We will choose. Some will be forgotten. Compose. Lift up. Step off. ” According to the project author.

After studying visual arts in Nahatel, Tamara Gvozdenović  joined a respectable conservatory for music and dance Trinity Laban in London, where our famous choreographer Alekandar Ilić, has a master’s degree. After graduation, she presented her first dance theater piece, Sainte Marie Joseph de la Rose, at Théâtre du Pommier in Nehatel, and the next year another, Sous Lou Cou (P) Du Lapin. Finally, and the third, Light Scream. In 2014, she joined the famous Belgian dance theater troupe Peeping Tom in Brussels.
The founder is Le Facteur, a dance theater troupe formed as a collective artist, developing on the move in Switzerland, France, and Belgium. The Belgrade audience was presented last year as part of the first edition of the Sola Festival with the performance Tombés.
