GALA CONCERT HELD AT VUK

 

The audience enthusiastically applauded the Gala concert performed by students of the Belgrade Dance Institute and members of the Youth Ballet Company. Visitors had the opportunity to watch exceptional performances of the most famous parts of ballets. As the authors and selectors of the program, Milica Bezmarević, Mila Stijak, and Ana Spremić, with the assistance of Jovica Begojev, announced, the audience had the opportunity to see variations and parts of the ballets such as The Humpbacked Horse, Pharaoh’s Daughter, Bayadere, Esmeralda, and Raymonda.

The audience supported the future hopes of Serbian ballet, Anastasija Vujnović, Anastasija Nikčević, Emma Keyes, and Una Stepanović, who performed demanding ballet bravuras at a high technical level, with a special applause.

Over twenty members of the Youth Ballet Company, who are regular students of primary and secondary ballet schools, performed the Gala concert program: Manojlović Tea, Marin Andrijana, Marković Manja, Prodanović Lana, Vuković Lara, Stamenković Dunja, Teslić Ana, Medaković Dea, Jović Mila, Vujnović Anastasija, Nikčević Anastasija, Savković Nikolina, Nedović Nađa, Stanić Filip, Bošković Sonja, Đeković Ana, Svorcan Ana, Đorđević Jana, Emma Keyes, Arsenović Natalija, and Nikolić Stefan, as well as students in their second year of the Belgrade Dance Institute: Una Stepanović and Vladimir Sekulić.

The Youth Ballet Company was founded in 2019 within the Belgrade Dance Institute with the aim of educating and promoting students of primary and secondary schools in Belgrade and Serbia. The company is led by the first soloist of the National Theater Ballet, Milica Bezmarević, Mila Stijak, and Ana Spremić, professors of the Belgrade Dance Institute, in collaboration with visiting pedagogues of the institution.
