DERIVED CHOREODRAMA – ANA DECIDED TO LIVE – 25403
On June 1st, the derived choreodrama Ana je odlučila da živi- 25403 (Ana decided to live – 25403) was performed on the stage of the Student Cultural Center in Belgrade.
Searching within myself, digging through the wounds of the past, and waiting for the “praise of madness,” I returned to my childhood. My sister writes a diary to her Ana, my mother and grandmother tell for the thousandth time what would have happened if it hadn’t been for that night when grandpa was taken away, never to return… I’m sewing sneakers and not understanding much.
Many years later, this is an homage to my grandfather, Milan Lepenac, the hero of my childhood, and to Anne Frank who gave eternal life to heroes – Milica Bezmarević.
