AWARD FOR PROJECT OF DAH THEATRE CALLED TREES DANCE
The Austrian Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs invited Prof. Dijana Milošević and members of the DAH Theater in Austria at the Market of the Future Innovation Festival, where they presented their project Trees dance on October 2nd and October 3rd, 2021 in Graz, Austria.
The Trees Dance project is one of five international projects awarded by the Austrian public radio Oe1, which is an integral part of the Austrian public service ORF, within the initiative Fixing the Future – Casting New Ideas. In a competition of 43 projects from 20 countries, DAH Theater is one of the winners of the award for the most innovative idea for change and “fixing the future now”.
The project consists of the play Trees Dances, conversations with the audience after the play, round tables on climate change and tree protection, to which experts, activists and artists are invited, creation of a digital platform that will connect artists, activists and citizens.
In the jubilee year, 30 years since its inception, DAH Theater will premiere a new play called Trees Dances on October 30th, 31st and November 1st, starting at 8 pm in the Student Park in Belgrade.
The play, in cooperation with the Belgrade Dance Institute, was supported by ITAC – Climate Impact, Austrian Embassy in Belgrade – Culture and Development Program, City of Belgrade – Secretariat for Culture.
