Angela Mihova’s Solo Initiation opened the 12th BOSIFEST
On October 18th, 2021, at 6 pm, Angela Mihova, a third-year student at the Belgrade Dance Institute, performed a solo Initiation at the 12th BOSIFEST International Film Festival of Persons with Disabilities, which takes place from October 18th to 20th at the Yugoslav Cinematheque. The solo was created in the work with the visiting professor of the Belgrade Dance Institute, Natalija Gabrijelščik from the famous dance company Hofeš Šehter.
The audience was addressed by the Festival Director Darko Ivić, Festival Selector Miroljub Stojanović, Senior Advisor from the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs Anja Sargin and the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality Mrs. Brankica Janković.
The opening ceremony of the 12th Bosifest was led by actress Nataša Tapušković.
During Bosifest, from October 18th to 20th, the audience will have the opportunity to watch a total of 12 films chosen by the selector Miroljub Stojanović.
The jury of this year’s Bosifest will be composed of directors: Ivan Ikić, Stefan Ivančić and Sonja Djekić.
The jury will award the following prizes: Grand Prix for best film, award for best director, award for best screenplay, as well as special awards.
With its richness of diversity, the festival promotes Serbia and the city of Belgrade as one democratic society that fights for the integration of persons with disabilities as equal members of society.
